In late January 2007, we organized a work party with good friends and our sons to tear down our existing dog runs behind our house, some of which had been there for 26 years!  We had two small covered runs with a very leaky roof and the larger runs had little or no shelter from our typical Oregon wet weather.  It was time for a redo!  Below are pictures of the process.

                                                                  THE FINISHED PRODUCT!

We have two 12 x 20 metal carports, each with one solid side.  One has two chain link covered runs and the other has one large chain link covered run.  We fenced in the area in between the two carports as an additional large run and each of the 3 covered runs also has a wide gate at the back opening into a larger outside run for when the weather is nice.  We also added plastic panels around the bottom of the covered runs to keep the dogs from kicking the sawdust out too quickly.  A new hose to make doing water buckets easy (except in the winter) - the dogs love their new quarters!

AND A FEW EXTRA PROJECTS....
